This Privacy Policy explains how Cric Scorer collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

• Purchase Information: such as premium subscription or in-app purchase status. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple, Google, or the relevant app store provider.
• Match, Team, and Player Data: such as team names, player names, match scores, scorecards, tournaments, statistics, live scoreboard data, player images, and related cricket scoring information you create or share.
• Referral Data: such as referral code, invited users count, premium rewards, and device/account information needed to prevent fraud and provide referral rewards.
• Usage Data: such as app launches, taps, screen views, feature usage, ad interactions, and general app activity.
• Advertising Data: such as ads shown, ad impressions, ad clicks, approximate ad performance, and advertising identifiers where permitted.
• Diagnostics Data: such as crash logs, performance data, launch time, error reports, and technical logs used to improve app stability.
• Contacts: if you choose to import or select a player/contact from your phone contacts, we may access contacts with your permission. We only use the contact information you choose to add. We do not upload your entire address book unless clearly stated and permitted by you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide cricket scoring, scorecards, tournaments, teams, and player statistics.
• To save, restore, sync, or share your match and team data across devices or teammates.
• To manage premium subscriptions, in-app purchases, and restore purchases.
• To provide referral rewards and prevent misuse or fraud.
• To send important app notifications, match updates, schedule alerts, and live-score updates.
• To show ads and measure advertising performance.
• To analyze app usage and improve features, design, performance, and reliability.
• To respond to support requests and fix technical issues.
• To comply with legal, safety, and security requirements.

3. Advertising and Analytics

Cric Scorer may use third-party advertising and analytics services, including Google AdMob, Firebase, or similar services. These services may collect device information, advertising identifiers, usage data, ad interaction data, crash data, and performance data.

Where required, the app may ask for permission to track your activity for personalized advertising. If you do not allow tracking, you may still see ads, but they may be less personalized.

4. In-App Purchases and Premium Features

Premium purchases and subscriptions are handled through Apple App Store, Google Play, or the relevant app store payment system. We may receive purchase status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, and expiry information to unlock premium features, remove ads, restore purchases, and prevent fraud.

We do not collect or store your payment card number, bank account details, or full billing information.

5. Live Score, Sharing, and Sync Features

If you use live scoreboard, tournament sharing, teammate sync, or cloud backup features, match data may be uploaded to our servers so it can be shared, viewed, or synced across devices. This may include match names, team names, player names, scores, statistics, images, schedules, and tournament details.

Any public link you create or share may be visible to anyone who has access to that link.

6. Push Notifications

We may use Apple Push Notification Service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, or similar services to send notifications about matches, schedules, live scores, app updates, premium features, reminders, or important account activity. You can turn off notifications at any time from your device settings.

7. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services such as:

• Google AdMob for advertisements
• Firebase Analytics for app analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports
• Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
• Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing for purchases
• Backend hosting and database services for sync, live score, and referral features

These third-party services may process data according to their own privacy policies.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these cases:

• With service providers who help operate the app, ads, analytics, payments, notifications, or backend services.
• When you choose to share match links, tournament links, live score links, or team data.

9. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the app, maintain your account or premium access, support sync/live-score features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and improve the app.

Match data stored locally on your device may remain until you delete it from the app or uninstall the app. Data synced to our servers may remain until you request deletion or delete it through available app features.

10. Your Privacy Choices

You may control your information in the following ways:

• You can disable notifications in your device settings.
• You can limit ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings.
• You can choose not to use sync, live-score sharing, referral, or contact-import features.
• You can delete local match or player data inside the app where available.
• You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

Cric Scorer is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

14. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to servers and service providers located in different countries.
